Danville Firefighters doused a blaze tonight (March 27, 2019) at a church on the city’s west side. Damage was described as minimal as the flames destroyed a cross located on the outside of the Living Water Apostolic Church in the 1200 block of West Williams Street.
The Senior Pastor at the church, Randy Taylor, told VermilionCountyFirst.com News the church was occupied when the fire broke out….
The cause of the fire remains under investigation but fire officials said it is believed to have been accidental. Pastor Taylor described the damage….
And Pastor Taylor praised Danville Firefighters for their quick response and the fact they were able to douse the fire before flames reached the church’s roof.
