Three Danville District 118 School Board members have won re-election. Reverend Thomas Miller, Gladys Davis and Board President Bill Dobbles retained their seats. Monica Beasley collected nearly 1700 votes, but it was not enough to join the board.
And three Danville Area Community College Trustee candidates won their spots without any opposition. They are Greg Wolfe, Charlotte Cherry and Ronald Serfoss. Serfoss is filling a two-year unexpired term.
In some other area school board races the unofficial, final results showed the following candidates won spots:
— In the Georgetown-Ridge Farm District, winners were N. Heiser Dalenberg, Jeromy Spesard, Roslin Renaker and Michael Gragert.
— In the Hoopeston Area District, winners were Lee Cox and Dave McFadden and for the Hoopeston Area REM seat, Rich Eisenmann came out on top.
— In the Potomac District, winners were Leon Hudson, Shawna Jameson and Melissa Murphy.
— In the Salt Fork School District winners included Ron Taylor, Troy Chew, Martin Birge and Andrea Vanleer.
— Winners of seats on the Westville Unit 2 School Board in Tuesday’s vote were Tim McFadden, Paul Shannon, D. Vogt Seripinas and Robert ‘Bob’ Clifford. (*Note: Corrected from earlier.)
— In the Armstrong Township High School District winners included Gordon Hedrick, Andrew Cler and John Gordon.
All of the results are unofficial according to Vermilion County Clerk Cathy Jenkins until April 16th when the vote will be certified.
