Danville Police are trying to determine who fired shots which struck two homes Sunday night. Police Commander Joshua Webb says several people called to report they heard multiple shots fired in the area of the 1600 block of Westview Drive around 10:25 p.m.
Police checked the area and discovered that gunfire had struck two homes, but no injuries were reported. One of the homes was in the 1700 block of Westview Drive in the Holiday Hills area. The other was in the 800 block of Holiday Drive. Police checked occupants of both homes and found no one hurt.
Sunday night’s shooting occurred in the same area where a woman was shot in the leg while sleeping in her home just over two weeks ago (on March 22nd). The wound received by the 22-year-old woman was not life-threatening.
