A pile of debris is all that is left of a Danville home which was destroyed by fire late Wednesday night. The alarm sounded shortly after 10:30 p.m. for a fire in a vacant two-story home at 114 Ohio Street. The home was engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived on the scene (on April 24, 2019).
Fortunately there are vacant lots on both sides of the home, so no other structures were threatened. The home is owned by the City of Danville.
There were no injuries. Firefighters spent more than four hours on the scene.
