Domino’s Pizza has announced it is offering a $5,000 reward in efforts to find the persons responsible for killing one of its employees in Danville. The company says the reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the persons responsible for the April 30th shooting death of 41-year-old Terry L. Gaines of Danville.
Police say Gaines was shot when two suspects tried to rob him as he walked back to his car after delivering a pizza. Gaines was pronounced dead on the scene on Alexander Street.
In addition to the $5,000 reward being offered by Domino’s in the case, Vermilion County Crime Stoppers also pays rewards for information leading to the arrest and conviction of persons wanted for serious crimes in the county. If you have any information that might help solve this case you are asked to call Danville Police, or call Crime Stoppers at (217) 446-TIPS.
