The smell of steaks cooking on outdoor grills will be prominent along North Vermilion Street in Danville Saturday (June 1st, 2019). Rawhide Meat Company is hosting the Eastern Illinois Steak Championship Cook Off.
Promoter Joe Vincent says there will be a cooks meeting at 10:00 a.m. before the cooks pick out their steaks…
Vincent notes it is a sanctioned event….
Vincent added this is different than some of the big barbeque competitions which take place across the nation….
Vincent says all net proceeds from the Steak Cook Off will be donated to the Danville Boys and Girls Club.
