The Urbana School Board has finalized the hiring of Danville High School Principal Kimberly Norton as the district’s new Assistant Superintendent of Student Learning. The school board approved the hiring of Norton during its meeting Tuesday evening (June 18th, 2019). Norton will assume her new position on July 1st.
Norton has been the Danville High School Principal since 2015. She had earlier served as the Danville School District 118 Title One Director, and was also formerly an assistant principal and language arts instructor at North Ridge Middle School.
