Although the forecast had called for showers and thunderstorms for most of the weekend, the weather surprised many people as it cooperated for outdoor activities.
There were big crowds at Danville’s Lincoln Park for the annual Arts in the Park. And most of the weekend saw good weather for crowds that headed to the Vermilion County Fair and Expo. Both events ended on Sunday.
