An investigation continues into the cause of a fire which destroyed a home in Danville late Friday night (June 28, 2019). Danville firefighters found heavy flames coming from the rear of the home at 920 Harmon Street when they arrived around 11:40 p.m. The fire was also threatening a residence next door at 912 Harmon.
There were no injuries. No one was home at the house at 920 Harmon when the blaze erupted. The Danville Fire Department contacted the American Red Cross to assist the people who lived there.
Danville firefighters were on the scene for three hours. Fire investigators are working with Danville Police as they probe what caused it.
