The new OSF Urgo Danville location opens next Tuesday, July 30th, and yesterday (July 24th) an official blessing was held at the building.
Lynn Fulton, is the Executive Lead of OSF Urgo Projects. She says the building in the 3600 block of North Vermilion Street is designed for people on the move….
{‘’We’re seeing patients today that they don’t always want a relationship yet with a health care system or with a physician. But they want to have care when they need it. And they want it convenient,’’ said Fulton. ‘’And so we designed Urgo to meet those needs so that we’re here if you have a sprained ankle, if you have strep throat, or if you wake up and you have an ear infection. OSF Urgo is here for you. And you’re going to get in and out quickly and have excellent care.’’}
So does someone have to make an appointment for care?
{‘’You’re welcome to just walk in. We do take appointments. You can reserve an appointment online. You can search for us at OSF Urgo, and go on our site and make an appointment online. But you can also just walk in,’’ said Fulton while talking with VermilionCountyFirst.com News.}
‘’OSF Urgo will give members of the community an easy point of access for excellent, efficient health care for minor ailments and occupational related health events,’’ said Dr. Jared Rogers, President of OSF HealthCare Sacred Heart Medical Center. ‘’It will set a new standard in what to expect in urgent care,’’ added Rogers.
There will be a public open house at the new Danville OSF Urgo on Saturday (July 27th) from 10:00 a.m. until noon.
