Danville Police say a fourth person has been arrested in the murder of a city man in April. Commander Joshua Webb says 20-year-old Tariq C. Wilson of Danville was taken into custody by members of the US Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force after being located in Centralia, Illinois.
Wilson (shown here) is charged with murder in the shooting death of Roosevelt Anderson Junior. Anderson was 25 when he died on April 25th, 2019 – the day after he was found lying in the 900 block of Redden Court. Police were told that Anderson was shot during an altercation involving several men. Three other men were taken into custody in the death earlier.
Bond for Wilson was set at $5-million dollars. He is awaiting extradition back to Vermilion County.
