Vermilion County Coroner Jane McFadden has released the identity of a man who died after being shot in Danville late Saturday night (November 9, 2019). She says the victim is 20-year-old Justin T. Daubaris of Danville.
The Coroner says an autopsy was conducted Monday and the investigation into Daubaris’ death continues by Danville Police, Illinois State Police and the Coroner’s Office.
Danville Police say they found the victim’s body when they went to a home in the 900 block of Hazel Street around 11:20 Saturday night. Police had gone to the home looking for suspects in the shooting of a 23-year-old Danville man who showed up at OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center seeking treatment for a gunshot wound to his lower extremities.
