The Vermilion County Museum Society is getting set to host its annual Holiday Open House. Both the Museum and Fithian Home will be open for visits – free of charge – on Sunday, December 1st, 2019 from 1:30 until 4:00 p.m.
Again this year visitors will be greeted by costumed characters portraying some Vermilion County residents of the past. Danville Light Opera carolers will also be performing. And Santa Claus will greet visitors of all ages along a 1930s era street scene. Visitors are reminded to take their cameras along to get photos. And there will also be assorted crafts and other activities for children.
