Jessica Sempek is Executive Director of the Danville Villas of Holly Brook. She says a key part of the development is a ‘Memory Care Unit’….
[”Which is a specially-designed part of our building for residents with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. It is a beautiful village – as we refer to it, or neighborhood, which allows residents to not feel that they’re living in a health-care facility, but instead they are at home,” said Sempek.]
There are also 50 Assisted Care units…..
[”The Boomers are getting older, and have needs that can’t always be met at home. But we try to create the Villas of Holly Brook as much as possible to mimic the home environment so folks don’t feel like they’re in a health-care institution, or that they’re even in assisted living.” said Sempek during an interview with VermilionCountyFirst.com News. ”They really feel that they are on a cruise ship or at a resort.”
The new Danville Villas of Holly Brook include everything from meals and housekeeping to being able to get your hair fixed or watch a movie in their theater.
Sempek says 12 employees have been hired so far, and although hiring is currently closed, she says it will re-open next month.
