Vermilion County Coroner Jane McFadden has released the identity of a man who died from a Sunday (January 19, 2020) shooting in Danville. She says the victim of the shooting on North Franklin Street is 29-year-old Jordan M. Parrish of Danville.
The Coroner says an autopsy was scheduled for today. And McFadden added Police and her office are continuing to investigate the death.
Danville Police were called to a home in the 1000 block of Franklin Street shortly before 8:30 Sunday night on a report of a home invasion. Neighbors said there had been a shooting there.
Police Chief Christopher Yates told VermilionCountyFirst.com News on Monday that there were no injuries to occupants of the home. He said the investigation was continuing and that other information is expected to be released later.
