Some demolition work scheduled Monday, March 2nd, in conjunction with plans for the new Carle at the Riverfront project will impact traffic along Logan Avenue. Weather permitting Logan will be closed between North and Madison Streets from 7:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. on both Monday and Tuesday (March 2nd and 3rd). This closure will affect traffic traveling both north and southbound along Logan.

And both motorists and pedestrians are being encouraged to use caution while traveling near the work site.
The closing of that area of Logan Avenue during the day on Monday and Tuesday is for those two days only. Danville Program Compliance Coordinator Tracy Craft says it will be much later – probably about a year from now – before that area of Logan is permanently closed for the Carle at the Riverfront development.

Carle will be relocating its medical offices which are now located along North Vermilion Street and at Fairchild and Gilbert in Danville to its new $70-million dollar medical campus. It will also relocate its ambulance headquarters for the Danville area to that site. Carle expects to have the new facilities completed in late 2021.
