Danville Police say an arrest has been made in Wednesday’s (March 11, 2020) fire which heavily damaged a Green Meadows apartment. A follow-up investigation revealed the fire was arson, according to police. Thirty-four year old Carlise Atkins who lived there has been charged with aggravated arson.

There were no injuries but the fire also left damage to another apartment and residents in all 16 units in the building had to temporarily relocate. The American Red Cross was assisting those families.
