The number of COVID-19 coronavirus cases continues to rise in Indiana. And the Indianapolis area is experiencing much more cases than other parts of the state.
New numbers from the Indiana Department of Public Health show that as of midnight Sunday 1,786 cases had been confirmed statewide. A total of 804 of those cases are in Marion County.
In West-Central Indiana there have been 2 cases of the disease confirmed in Warren County and one each in Fountain and Vermillion County, Indiana. Seven cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Vigo County and 14 in Tippecanoe County.
Statewide 35 Indiana residents have died from the disease. Over 11,600 people have been tested for it in the Hoosier State.
