The Board at the David S. Palmer Arena has scheduled a special meeting for Thursday afternoon (April 9, 2020). Because of Coronavirus restrictions the meeting is going to take place through teleconferencing – beginning at 4:30 p.m. Any public comments must be submitted in writing – in advance – with a deadline to submit comments of 3:00 p.m. Thursday.
Items on the agenda include a discussion of the contract with the Danville Dashers Hockey Team, and possibly opening negotiations with qualified individuals on the rental of the Arena for professional hockey during the 2020-2021 season.
Anyone wishing to submit public comments before the meeting may do so by emailing them to www.palmerarenacomments@yahoo.com. Again the deadline to submit comments is 3:00 p.m. Thursday, April 9, 2020. And the comments must be 100 words or less.
