Badflower has been in the studio working on its sophomore album, but took time out to create a new video featuring singer Josh Katz and guitarist Joey Morrow covering “Right Down The Line,” a '70s soft rock staple from Gerry Rafferty.
The duo stated, “We did this for absolutely no reason at all. Enjoy,” adding, “Quarantine us in a studio for weeks and something like this is bound to happen.”
The original version of the song was featured on Rafferty's 1978 album City To City. It climbed to Number 12 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Badflower released its debut LP, OK, I'm Sick, in February 2019. It features the hit singles “Heroin,” “Ghost” and “The Jester.” The band is signed to Big Machine/John Varvatos Records, a partnership between Big Machine Label Group and fashion designer John Varvatos.
