Danville Police say an apparent domestic dispute between two adults left one of them hospitalized in critical condition this evening (May 15, 2020). Police told VermilionCountyFirst.com News that officers responded to a report at 4:49 p.m. of a vehicle driving through Douglas Park. When officers arrived they discovered there had been an apparent domestic dispute and one of the adults had been struck by a vehicle allegedly driven by the other.
The person who was struck was transported to Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana and was last reported to be in critical condition.
Danville Police have not released any names of those involved. But police say there is no additional threat to anyone in the area of Douglas Park. Police also say they are looking for anyone who may have witnessed the incident.
