Workers at OSF HealthCare are being honored during this evening’s (Wednesday’s) NASCAR race at Darlington Raceway. The team of Richard Childress Racing is honoring OSF HealthCare by putting the name of the healthcare provider above the door of Tyler Reddick’s #8 Caterpillar Chevrolet.
It’s part of NASCARs initiative to motivate, celebrate and inspire health care workers by turning its drivers into their greatest fans.
Reddick sent a message to the OSF workers:
{‘’I just wanted to send over a quick thank-you to everyone for everything you’re doing to help keep our community safe during these difficult times. Your sacrifice and dedication does not go unnoticed by anyone,’’ said Reddick. ‘’So, thank you again for all that you do. And I’m excited to honor you – the real heroes – for having your name on our #8 Caterpillar Chevrolet during this Wednesday’s race at Darlington Raceway.’’
>>>> You can listen to the race starting at 4:00 p.m. today (Wednesday, May 20, 2020) on 94.9 fm K-Rock Radio.
