During a conversation with Guitar.com, Muse singer/guitarist Matt Bellamy sang praises of Billie Eilish. With plans to see her in concert, he said, “I know she's the biggest artist in the world right now, but I like Billie Eilish. That dark atmosphere she creates is something I can really connect with”
The interview that just published, was done at the National Association of Music Merchants Show (NAMM) in January. As a majority shareholder in Manson Guitar Works, he was asked about his treatment of the instrument.
Bellamy said, "People think I trash a lot of guitars on tour but it’s just not true – I’ve probably thrown the most guitars, but you pick them up and they still work. The Manson guitars were designed to deal with that kind of treatment, so they are really hard-wearing."
The members of Muse are talking while in lockdown about recording their ninth studio album. If all goes as planned, they will release it next year and then tour in 2022.
