Danville Police are investigating multiple shooting incidents which occurred last night and early this morning. Between 9:30 last night (Sunday, June 14, 2020) and 1:30 this morning police responded to five different reports involving shots being fired. They were in the 900 block of Koehn Drive, 900 block of Fowler, 1200 block of Dakota Street, 900 block of Giddings and 1600 block of Edgewood Drive. There was no official information immediately available on whether anyone was shot.
On Saturday, Danville Police responded to calls involving the discharge of firearms in the 600 block of Plum Street, 900 block of North Bowman Avenue, and 1300 block of East Main Street. Again no information was immediately available on whether anyone was actually shot.
In addition to these calls, Danville Police responded to numerous other calls over the weekend…including some business burglaries. One of the burglaries was reported early Sunday at JB Hawks at 501 North Vermilion Street. Another was discovered early Saturday at the E-Z Mart in the 200 block of West Fairchild Street.
