The City of Danville opens its swimming pool at Garfield Park on Monday (June 29, 2020)…weather permitting. The forecast is calling for a 50-percent chance of showers and thunderstorms that day.
Cindy Parson of the Danville Parks and Recreation Department says the pool is opening a later than normal…
Parson says the pool opens at 11:30 a.m. for those who have a pool pass…and is then open for general admission from noon until 6:00 p.m.
Parson notes the cost to swim….
The Danville Municipal Pool and AMBUCS Spray Park will be open through September 7th this year.
