Vermilion County Health Department announced two new cases of the coronavirus Tuesday.
Health Department Administrator Doug Toole says the cases are a person in their 50’s and a person in their 60’s.
Toole says both cases reported Tuesday and several of Monday’s new cases are related to out-of-state travel to visit relatives.
Meanwhile, the Illinois Department of Public Health announced that 724 new COVID-19 cases have been reported, including 23 additional deaths.
Vermilion County has seen a total of 64 positive cases and two deaths, while statewide that number is 143,185 cases and 6,923 deaths.ealth
