Two more people tested positive on Friday in Vermilion County for COVID-19, but the county did not see any cases reported on either Saturday or Sunday.
The cases reported Friday are a person in their 50’s and another person in their 20’s.
Vermilion County Health Department says the county now has 73 positive coronavirus cases.
Statewide, the Illinois Department of Public Health reported 2,369 positive cases combined from Friday through Sunday, including 34 deaths over the three-day period. One of the deaths reported Sunday by the state is a Champaign County man in his 90’s.
