Vermilion County now has three more COVID-19 cases after going two consecutive days without a case.
The health department says the cases involve one resident in their 60’s, one resident in their 40’s and one resident in their 20’s.
The county currently has 24 active cases, with 22 on home isolation and two hospitalized.
Of the 76 positive cases, eight small groups are connected by housing, and one small group is connected by a workplace.
Statewide, 614 new coronavirus cases were reported along with six additional deaths, which include one woman in her 70’s and one man in his 80’s both from Champaign County.
The current statewide positivity percentage is 2.6%.
