Seventeen employees of Danville District 118 have retired following the end of the 2019-20 school year.
The employees include educators, administration members and support staff personnel. They represent a combined 379 years experience serving the students of Danville.
Retiring staff members are:
- Teri Atwood, district treasurer, 24 years.
- Howard Baker, North Ridge Middle School teacher, 21 years.
- Beth Brown, Liberty Elementary School food-service worker, 22 years.
- Thomas Brown, North Ridge Middle School teacher, 21 years.
- Donald Chapman, South View Upper Elementary School custodian, 11 years.
- Rebecca Cline, Southwest Elementary School social worker, 35 years.
- Randy Dougherty, Danville High School custodian, 30 years.
- Kristi Hawker, North Ridge Middle School teacher, 33 years.
- Kimball King, Danville High School food-service worker, 11 years.
- Jeffrey Kuras, Danville High School custodian, 12 years.
- Julie Neil, Edison Elementary School teacher, 35 years.
- Shawn Smith, Garfield Elementary School custodian, 15 years.
- Carol Stamper, Edison Elementary School teaching assistant, four years.
- Richard Watson, Danville High School custodian, 31 years.
- Larry Withers, South View Upper Elementary School teaching assistant, 20 years.
- Joann Young, Danville High School teaching assistant, 20 years.
- Anita Zoeller, Southwest Elementary School teacher, 34 years.
