Students in Danville District 118 will have to register for classes online this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Registration for returning students opens on Wednesday and can be done through the Skyward Family Portal. New student registration begins Friday and can be done through the New Student Portal on Skyward.
Dr. Beth Yacobi, the district’s Assistant Superintendent for Secondary Education, said online registration will continue until Wednesday, August 12. She said a handful of administrators will oversee the new student registration to make sure students have the documents they need to register. She says the regular registration should be relatively easy.
Audio Player“It is a simple tab that parents will click on. The questions that we ask the, the forms look exactly the same. They initial, date and submit–they’re registered.”
In-person registration will be held August 3rd through August 5th at Liberty Elementary School, but Yacobi says it will take much longer than usual.

Superintendent Alicia Geddis says the online registration process should only take about three to five minutes to complete.
