Megan Thee Stallion broke her silence on Instagram Live yesterday (July 27th), to set the record straight about the shooting involving Tory Lanez earlier this month in the Hollywood Hills. Through tears, the rapper said, “I was shot in both of my feet and I had to get surgery to get the bullets taken out—and it was super scary. It was super scary. It was just the worst experience of my life and it’s not funny.”
She continued, “I see a lot of people painting fake ass narratives and making up stories and all this other wack a** sh*t, but I also see a lot of people that have been like very supportive and I just really appreciate that.”
Megan then spoke on the blogs and critics, saying, “It was nothing for y’all to start going and making up fake stories about. I didn’t put my hands on nobody. I didn’t deserve to get shot. I didn’t do sh*t. And thank God that the bullets didn’t touch bones. They didn’t break tendons. I know my mama and my daddy, my granny had to be looking out for me with that one ’cause where the bullets hit at, it missed everything, but the motherfu**ers was in there.”
The rapper also revealed that she wasn't “protecting anybody” but just wasn't ready to speak. She said, “So f**k y’all and the fake ass blogs and y’all fake ass sources and my fake a** friends.”
Megan then reflected on the loss of her parents, saying, “My mama was my best friend. I’m still really not over that. So you gotta fill like your space with a bunch of people that you think is making you happy. Like it’s a lot. I was moving too fast. I wasn’t taking enough time for myself. I thought I was ready to be around a bunch of motherfu**ers, I thought I was ready to give good energy to other people and other people wasn’t ready to give good energy to me.”
Although Megan didn't name Tory, it has been reported that he shot her after an argument in their chauffered car after a party at Kylie Jenner's house. Tory was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon in a vehicle.
