Danville Police are investigating a shooting Tuesday morning that left an 18-year-old man wounded.
Commander Josh Webb said officers were called to OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center at 5:19 a.m. this morning in response to a victim with gunshot wounds. Upon arrival officers met the man, who had non-life-threatening wounds to both legs.
The victim said he was walking in the area of Pixley and Williams streets on Danville’s east side when he heard gunfire from an unknown direction. He said he then went home and got a ride to the hospital from a family member.
