The players come from all over Illinois, and Alpers says proceeds from the tournament support area Veterans….
{‘’Every dime. Every single dime,’’ said Alpers. This being our sixth year, we’ve donated around $25,000 to Veteran’s organizations and charities. It’s not going to change. It is not going to change,’’ vowed Alpers.}
Saturday morning an honor guard from the Danville Police and Fire Departments, and Vermilion County Sheriff’s Department conducted a flag-raising ceremony with American Legion Riders from Post 210 on hand.
