Mariah Carey teamed up with Lauryn Hill for the new song titled “Save the Day.”
The song samples Lauryn’s version of the classic song “Killing Me Softly” while she was in the group The Fugees.
“This one is for you, my fans,” she said on Twitter. “It’s to celebrate us, and to thank you for years of pure love and support. I am so grateful to you.”
The track is produced by Jermaine Dupri.
“Save the Day” is the first single off of Mariah’s upcoming compilation album The Rarities, which comes out October 9th. A few days before the release of the album, Mariah will be releasing her memoir titled The Meaning of Mariah Carey.
