A Georgetown man has been arrested and faces several charges after he hit another driver while fleeing from police.
29-year-old Shane Green was driving his motorcycle south on Route 1 at 9 p.m. Sunday when troopers attempted to pull him over. He did not stop and then failed to stop at the light with Main Street, hitting the front end of a Saturn driven by 27-year-old Jarred Nelk of Indiana.
Nelk and a passenger were not injured.
Green was taken to an area hospital for treatment of serious injuries. He is listed in good condition.
He has been charged with aggravated fleeing and eluding police, driving on a revoked license and possession of methamphetamine.
