OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center will soon have a new leader for its Danville operation.
Bradley Solberg, the current president of OSF St. James Medical Center in Pontiac, will transition to interim president of the Danville hospital in mid-October while continuing to head up the Pontiac operation.
Dr. Jared Rogers will continue to serve as president of OSF Heart of Mary Medical Center in Urbana.
A news release Wednesday says Solberg will work to carry forward a culture of collaboration that provides a safe patient care environment that also fosters innovation and creativity.
Solberg will be responsible for directing all internal operations at Sacred Heart, while ensuring that high quality and cost-effective health care is delivered to patients.
Solberg has served as president of the Pontiac hospital since 2015. Prior to that, he spent 14 years as the CEO at Hammond-Henry Hospital in Geneseo.
