An abandoned house on Danville’s east side was destroyed Wednesday night in what the fire department considers a likely arson.
Danville Fire Lieutenant Chris McMahon says firefighters responded to the vacant, city-owned property at 109 Ohio Street, around 11 p.m. Wednesday.
McMahon says the department was on the scene until around 12:30 Thursday morning. The house was destroyed in the blaze.
