The Vermilion County Health Department reported 52 new COVID-19 cases between Friday and Saturday.
The new cases consist of:
- Four people in their 80’s
- Three people in their 70’s
- Three people in their 60’s
- Eight people in their 50’s
- Eight people in their 40’s
- Nine people in their 30’s
- Eleven people in their 20’s
- Three teenagers
- Two grade-school-aged children
- One infant
Vermilion County now has 528 total positive cases. Administrator Doug Toole says 96 people received their flu vaccine during the first day of the drive-through vaccination clinic held on Saturday.
The Illinois Department of Public Health reported 1,402 new cases Sunday and 14 more deaths. The seven-day positivity rate is 3.5 percent.
