The entire Bismarck-Henning and Westville school districts are going to remote-only learning for two weeks.
B-H Superintendent Scott Watson wrote in a letter to parents Thursday morning that all of the district’s schools will close for in-person learning tomorrow (Friday) for 14 days. He says the district has seen a number of positive COVID-19 cases among students, and several more groups of students are in quarantine due to contact with people who have tested positive.
A representative of Westville school district also confirmed to Vermilion County First News that Westville is now going fully remote for all students for the next two weeks.
Watson says all three Bismarck-Henning school buildings will reopen for in-person learning on Monday, October 26th. He says the district is working with the Vermilion County Health Department on public school guidance.
