A Danville man has been arrested for firing a gun inside his home during an argument.
66-year-old Clarence Hardimon is facing charges of aggravated discharge of a firearm, possession of a stolen firearm and illegal possession of a weapon by a felon.
Danville Police Commander Josh Webb says officers responded to the 600 block of Harmon Street around 3 p.m. Sunday and spoke to several people who were inside Hardimon’s home. They said he became angry with them, threatened them with the gun and fired a single shot into the air.
Police set up a perimeter around Hardimon’s home, and he surrendered to them without incident.
Officers recovered three handguns from his residence, including one that had been reported stolen.
