Mike Hulvey, Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Neuhoff Media, has been selected as the chairman of the Radio Advertising Bureau for the upcoming year.
Hulvey joins an elite group of individuals in the broadcasting industry on the board, which includes executives from Cox Media, Connoisseur Media and Univision. He succeeds Susan Larkin, the COO of Entercom Communications (formerly CBS Radio) as chair of the bureau.
“It’s an honor to serve the RAB and radio industry in this capacity,” Hulvey says. “Radio is building a great success story not only of recovery, but revival. Thanks in part to the hard work of the RAB team, radio will accelerate from a new normal to a new better.”
Hulvey has spent more than 35 years in the radio industry, beginning at WDAN and D102 as a student at Danville High School. He has also served as a member of the International Broadcasters Idea Bank and as chairman of the Radio Show Steering Committee.
The Radio Advertising Bureau serves more than 6,000 radio stations in the United States and more than 1,000 networks, research firms, broadcast vendors and international organizations. RAB leads and participates in educational, research, sales and advocacy programs that promote and advance radio as a primary advertising medium.
