The Vermilion County Health Department reported 90 new COVID-19 cases on Friday afternoon, along with 10 more deaths.
Administrator Doug Toole says some of the new death counts date back to October 31st. The new deaths are all men: two in their 80’s, six in their 70’s, one in his 60’s and one in his 40’s. Eight of the deaths occurred in congregate living facilities.
The new announced cases consist of:
- Two people in their 90’s
- Eight people in their 80’s
- Nine people in their 70’s
- 13 people in their 60’s
- 13 people in their 50’s
- 14 people in their 40’s
- Nine people in their 30’s
- 10 people in their 20’s
- Six teenagers
- Six grade-school-aged children
Currently, Vermilion County has 279 active cases and 23 patients in the hospital with the virus.
