Work on the northwest sanitary sewer project in Danville is set to begin on Monday.
The project involves the reconstruction of the sanitary sewer area along Denmark Road, Old Ottawa Road, and areas of the Denvale and Chateau Estates subdivisions.
Placement of traffic control will begin on Monday on Denmark Road along Lake Vermilion, and concrete barriers will be delivered on Tuesday. During the delivery of the concrete barriers, there will be reduced traffic lanes.
Starting Monday, November 30th, the eastbound lane of Denmark Road across the lake will be closed so crews can reconstruct the sewer main on the bridge.
Motorists should use caution around the work zone and choose an alternate route to avoid delays.
