Students in Danville District 118 schools will be learning remotely for the rest of the fall semester and into next year.
Superintendent Alicia Geddis says students who are currently learning in-person could return to the classroom as soon as January 11th—if COVID-19 positivity rates in Vermilion County are low enough to allow it.
Full remote learning will begin this coming Monday, November 23rd. Thanksgiving break will then begin on Wednesday.
Christmas break is set from December 21st through January 1st, with students resuming full remote learning on January 4th.
