Nine Danville District 118 schools are set to receive new water-bottle-filling stations as part of a grant from two Illinois foundations.
The program is called “H2O On the Go” and is provided by the Delta Dental Foundation and the Illinois Children’s Healthcare Foundation. The schools will have their existing water fountains replaced by bottle-filling foundations. They will also receive toothbrushes and reusable water bottles for students.
The Danville schools receiving the new stations are Danville High School, Edison Elementary School, Garfield Elementary School, Kenneth D. Bailey Academy, Mark Denman Elementary School, Meade Park Elementary School, North Ridge Middle School, South View Upper Elementary School and Southwest Elementary School.
