Our weekend calendar of events is courtesy of Vermilion Advantage:

FRIDAY, DECEMBER 4th

  • Once in a Blue Moon Vintage Market – Open All Weekend – (433 N. Gilbert, Danville) Antique & Vintage Market open the 2nd weekend of each month on Thursday 5:00-8:00PM, Friday & Saturday 10:00AM-5:00PM & Sunday Noon-5:00PM. Open Each Sunday to the end of the year; Noon-5:00PM.
  • Sleepy Creek Vineyards/Friday Tunes – (8254 E 1425 North Rd, Fairmount) Winery Open Noon-9:00PM; Friday Tunes with the James Jones Trio; 6:30PM. The Winery is open starting at Noon and the Dragonfly Pavilion at 4:00PM. We are open for indoor seating with tables spaced apart. Dress warm and enjoy some normalcy with tables six feet apart in the Dragonfly, Winery, OR sit under out big tent with outdoor heaters to keep you warm and checkout the new front porch.
  • Hoopeston’s Thomas’s Light Show – (928 W. Penn St, Hoopeston) Featuring over 140,000 lights on 3 houses controlled by Light-O-Rama on 88.1FM; 5:00-11:00PM. Nightly until January 2, 2021.
  • Hoopeston’s Light Up McFerren Park – Over 25 displays & tens of thousands of lights; Open 7 days a week until January 2, 2021; Dusk to 11:00PM.
  • Light up Downtown Danville – Enjoy the beautiful lights and store Christmas Displays in Downtown Danville each evening until January 3, 2021 beginning at Dusk.
  • Gao Grotto Serving Dinner – (2400 Denmark Rd, Danville) Menu featuring 8 oz. Hamburger/Cheeseburger, Chicken Strips or Grilled Chicken Sandwich with 2 side choices; 5:30-7:30PM. Price is $8, appetizers are also available. Carry out & curbside available beginning at 5:15PM at 217-442-8344.
  • Open Roller Skating at Illini Skateland – (8 Brewer Rd, Danville) 6:00-9:00PM; Admission $8.50. Due to COVID regulations entrance limited to 50 people.

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 5th

  • Winter Danville Farmer’s Market at First Presbyterian Church – (100 N. Franklin St, Danville) Shop vendors inside & outside! 10:00AM-2:00PM. We will have masks requirements, hand sanitation stations, social distancing. Our vendors strive to serve you & keep you safe.
  • Danville Art League Art Show “Farm, Garden & Harvest” Exhibit – (320 N. Franklin, Danville) This art show features local artists in the Paul Brumaghim Gallery each Saturday through December 12 from 10:00AM-2:00PM.
