Like many new moms, Katy Perry is struggling to get enough sleep.
The “Smile” singer opened up to Hugh Jackman and his wife Deborra-Lee Furness during the David Lynch Foundation’s Mediate America event Thursday (December 3rd).
She said, “My daughter, she’s such a gift, but there is sometimes a challenge concerning sleep. No matter how much support you have. But where am I going to get those six hours that I used to get? Where did it go? And it went, but I know how to get it back.”
The 36-year-old singer went on to reveal that she uses transcendental meditation to get small breaks during the day. She said the practice gives her “the deepest rest” that her body and brain were “desperate for.”
Perry and her boyfriend Orlando Bloom announced the birth of their daughter Daisy Dove Bloom in August 2020.
