Area residents can enjoy driving by decorated homes this weekend, and they can also enjoy two more fun sights for the holiday season.
Starting Friday night, the buildings at the Bunker Hill Historic Area at Kennekuk County Park will be decorated for walk-through and drive-by viewing. The buildings will be closed but visitors can take in the sights of an old-fashioned holiday season set in the 1950’s. The buildings will be lighted from 5-8 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays for the rest of December.
On Saturday, Tilton will be hosting its first-ever Christmas parade. The parade will begin at the community center on the Catlin-Tilton Road and will end at the ballpark, where the village has its winter wonderland. The event begins at 5:00.
The community’s light display is available from 5-10 p.m. Friday through Sunday and from December 18th-27th.
