Due to an unprecedented demand for toys this year, the Danville Toys for Tots program has extended its distribution to Friday morning.
Toys will be distributed between 11 a.m. and Noon at St. James United Methodist Church, 504 N. Vermilion St.
The distribution time is open to parents previously approved for Tots for Tots who were not able to be present for distribution on Wednesday and Thursday. In addition, parents who have not signed up for Tots for Tots May attend if they provide the correct documentation.
“During these difficult economic times, we are grateful to all those who have donated so generously,” said program coordinator Megan Montgomery. “We want to make sure we reach as many families as possible needing help. As a result, we have opened up the additional time for toy distribution.”
