UPDATE (10 a.m. CST Sunday): Indiana State Police say the woman whose body was found died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
39-year-old Maofa Iuli of Terre Haute was identified by police. Family members have been notified.

Indiana State Police are investigating a person’s death in a fire on Friday morning in Universal, Indiana.
Detectives say emergency personnel responded to a fire in a detached garage at a property on Rangeline Road in Universal at 10 a.m. Friday. Firefighters discovered that the fire had fully engulfed the structure. Once the fire was extinguished, a body was found.
The victim’s identity is being withheld pending identification. An autopsy was scheduled for today at Terre Haute Regional Hospital.
Agencies assisting at the scene included the Vermillion County Sheriff’s Department, Vermillion County Coroner’s Office, Cayuga Town Marshal, Black Diamond Volunteer Fire Department and the Indiana State Fire Marshal.
